Ode to Mudd (as he nears the seven month mark)

Mudd is jumping like crazy. He's a big kid and the crown molding is whimpering. But the jumper is so much fun. Because when you're almost seven months old it feels good to stand in place and shake that bootay, especially on a full stomach (which is almost all the time!) Okay, no fat jokes, Mudd...
We love you, our (big) little man.

I loved our jumper. When our forth was ready to "rock and roll" I had to watch her very carefully. The older kids liked to swing her high up in the air. Occasionally one of the older ones would get stuck in the thing. If I remember correctly, the tray would always be encrusted with dried on food. Yuck!

Sometimes I really regret not getting one of those jumpy thingies. Maybe I would have gotten a few moments of piece at that age!
Thanks for the comment over at my place!

The crown moulding is whimpering... rofl! My 19 mo. old's physical therapist actually recommended we use a johnny jumper for him. I said, "Do you know how much he weighs?" Lol!

I loved my jumper until Boo figured out how to jump in directions! I had the kind you hand in the door frame, and I'm sure he was going to smash his little head into the frame!

I remember those jumpers when my girls were small. It looked like such fun - do they make a version for adults?

The jumper is a lot of fun. I can get a good 15 minutes peace out of that thing each time he plays in it.
